Praying with Carlo Acutis

Carlo, who was born in 1991, was an ordinary kid: he liked soccer, animals, and his friends, and he was passionate about computers. But as it turns out, he wasn’t so ordinary: he was fascinated by churches and by the Virgin Mary, and his greatest desire was to receive the Eucharist! He loved God and put all his efforts into serving God.When he was 15, he was diagnosed with acute leukemia. But he didn’t complain. In his view, “Sadness is looking at ourselves. Happiness is looking towards God.” He died on October 12, 2006. He soon became very popular, especially among youth. A first miracle was attributed to him in 2018, which led to his being beatified. After another miracle in 2024, he was canonized by Pope Leo XIV in 2025.
